Kate Middleton has left Kensington Palace with her new daughter, baby Princess Charlotte.

The pair, along with Prince William and Prince George, were spotted earlier today leaving London in a Range Rover and it has been confirmed by Kensington Palace that the family of four are heading to Amner Hall, their ten-bedroom mansion on the Queen's estate in Norfolk.

The country retreat is the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's second home and was a wedding gift to the couple from the Queen. The family will spend the first few weeks of the princess' life there as they adjust to their new addition and are then expected to base themselves permanently at the estate so the children can grow up in serene surorundings.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a good look at what the Duchess, 33, wore for her second post-pregnancy outing but we did spot a blue and white printed scarf by Beulah, £195, and pearl drop earrrings from Annoushka.

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana has had a busy four days since she was born on Saturday, May 2 - what with being introduced to the whole world and all - so it's only right that she gets some time to rest up with her family.
