The camel coat Ali MacGraw wore with stylish aplomb in the '70s film Love Story could not feel more 2015, what with everyone from Kendall to Suki reviving Jennifer Cavalleri’s look. So we're delighted to hear Michael Kors is set to celebrate the role of American fashion in film over the last three decades with

an A-List panel.

The designer will be joined by everyone from Kate Hudson - whose Almost Famous wardrobe was coveted by all of Grazia HQ - and Ali MacGraw as well as Rene Russo and Vanity Fair’s Elizabeth Saltzman, to discuss the relationship between style and cinema in an on-stage conversation on the opening night of Icons of Style.

The film series will run from 14th to 16th May at the chic Ham Yard Hotel in London in partnership with Fashion & Cinema. As if that wasn't enough, three quintessential American films – Love Story (1970), Almost Famous (2000) and The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) – will be screened over three evenings.

We’re not afraid to admit that we watch our favourite films as much for the on-screen outfits as the plotlines and of course, Michael Kors is no stranger to Hollywood with glamorous collections loved by the likes of Blake Lively and Olivia Palermo. So pass us tht shearling coat and we're good to go...

Tickets are available to the screening of Icons of Style: Almost Famous on 15 May and Icons of Style: The Thomas Crown Affair on 16 May, £15 (students) and £20 (adults). Buy tickets here.
