This week FENDI have unveiled spectacular windows worldwide to celebrate an exciting year for the Italian brand.

They have collaborated with Analogia Project, founded by the designer Andrea Mancuso and architect Emilia Serra, and together they have created a really impressive installation that is inspired by the iconic Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana - the new headquarters of the Roman luxury house.

The building is known as the Square Coliseum and FENDI have reinterpreted that to make the most intriguing windows we’ve seen in a long time. Hours of handcrafting went into the installations and each window across the world is totally unique.

The white mannequins, both large and miniature, are floating inside the arches that are similar to the white exterior of the Palazzo. We think the pop of colour from FENDI’s micro peekaboo bags will be stunning.

“Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana emerges in the windows design in a light and evocative way, where its rigid arches become soft, appearing and vanishing as if they were belonging to a past memory, a dream disappearing in the morning,” said Analogia Project.

This year is particularly important for FENDI as it marks the 50th year of collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld.

The windows will be on display in selected stores until June 2015.
