The 39-year-old actress and her girls Zahara and Shiloh celebrated with a cuddle (nawww!) as Angelina was named 'Best Villain' at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in LA on Saturday.
Angelina and her girls couldn't contain their excitement as she was awarded her gong and the director had some pretty wise words for the audeince as she took to the stage.
She said: I want to say when I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different - and I felt out of place, and too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And then one day I realized something, something I hope you all realize. Different is good.’
'When someone tells you that you are different, smile and hold your head up and be proud. And, as your villain, I would say: cause a little trouble; it’s good for you.'
Last week Angelina revealed that she had undergone preventative cancer surgery, removing her ovaries and fallopian tubes, following a cancer scare.
The mother-of-six opened up about the operation in The New York Times and wrote a piece entitled Angelina Jolie Pitt: Diary of a Surgery.
'It is not easy to make these decisions,' she said. 'But it is possible to take control and tackle head-on any health issue.'
