Ahead Of The Curve

Unlike last season, AW15 hasn't been dominated by a barely there nude nail. And even when nude has taken centre stage it's had an interesting twist. Like this incredible curved nude and orange mani at David Koma. To get the look apply, one coat of Ciate Nail Polish in Raincoat Nude followed by a lighter nude (LA Confidential) at both sides and finally, separate the two nudes with a curved line of a bold orange hue (Mango Martini) using a nail striping brush.

**Alternative Eyeliner **

When it came to eyeliner, today's shows were anything but ordinary. At Matthew Williamson, Benefit's head make-up and trend artist, Lisa Potter Dixon created this displaced, metallic bronze flick by following the natural contour of the eye socket and flicking upwards towards the outer corner to elongate the eyes. Another showstopper was the ah-mazing sequin eyeliner at Temperley, where Val Garland used Blue Tac to apply silver and gold sequins over eyelash glue.

**New Product Alert **

Toni & Guy's new Creative Dry Shampoos were essential to the easy, windswept beauties at Matthew Williamson and the choppy, textured wigs at Sophia Webster. They're Dry Shampoos first and foremost, but also work on hair volume, texture and hold. The three part collection won't hit shelves until later on this summer but will be well worth the wait.

Meet Next Season's Topshop Girl

Allow us to set the scene; dream team Hannah Murray on make-up and Anthony Turner for L'Oreal Professionnel on hair, explained to us that next season's Topshop girl 'has just moved to London from Scotland and is going a little wild in the Big Smoke'. Cue windswept hair, outdoorsy flushed cheeks and a handsome, brushed-up brow. Three products to achieve the look - L'Oreal Professionnel Full Volume Mousse, Topshop Cheek Jelly in Museum and Topshop Lip Bullet in Joy Ride.

Shoelace Knots

Next time you chuck your hair back into a quick bun, think about how much better it could be if you took an extra 2 minutes and opted for the Jonathan Saunders shoelace knot. Simply scrape your hair back into a sleek ponytail, then knot the tail once or twice (depending on your hair length) and pin in place. Leave some extra pieces out of the end to give the look an 'easy, nonchalant feel', says hair guru Luke Hersheson.
