Champagne? Oysters? What aphrodisiacs do you expect this Valentine's Day? Our food writer Vic Grier visited new members club in Mayfair, Le Peep Boutique who has just introduced Female Viagra Ice-Cream on their menu.
With this week's release of Fifty Shades Of Grey, Vice Cream is the latest in a long line of products hoping to cash in on the Christian Grey phenonmenon. Made by the Licktators, an ice cream company which makes kinky British licks at a secret south London 'Whipping Room', Vice Cream is described as a, 'women-only, intense female 'Viagra' ice cream made with a wicked triple-ripple of aphrodisiacs to enhance sexual pleasure.'

Licktators' Miss Whiplash said they hope to see women 'screaming for Vice Cream on Valentine’s Day. The Ecuadorian chocolate will stimulate the release of serotonins, the brain’s natural pleasure-enhancers. And the ice cream contains a daring dash of Lady Prelox, a natural, plant-based pleasure enhancer that boosts libido and encourages blood-flow to the sexual regions.'
But does it live it to the hype? Well not surprisingly, although chocolately and delicious, Vice Cream didn't bring out the inner temptress in us. On the plus side, seeing your dinner guest's face(s) when you announce you're serving 'Female Viagra' icecream this weekend more than makes up for the dissappointment.
