She's often described as flawless but it seems that Beyonce is - shock - just as human as the rest of us. Unedited photos of Queen Bey have emerged showing - GASP - blemishes and a few open pores.

The images are said to have come from a 2013 shoot for L'Oreal and they've sent the internt into meltdown. Some Twitter users have slammed the singer for using Photoshop in her campaigns and some have gone as far as branding her ugly. Wow. Do these individuals really believe that any image they've seen in magazines, on screen and even Instagram snaps haven't been filtered, cleaned up and retouched?

In the snaps Beyonce has a few pimples and a few open pores but jeez isn't that normal? One user didn't agree and wrote: 'she looks awful'.

Most of the internet though, including her huge army of loyal supporters known as the Beyhive, have hit back at the fan website that initially published the snaps and stuck up for Beyonce's natural beauty.

One fan wrote: 'I think beyoncé is beautiful whether her photos are photo shopped or not.' Another user joked quipped: 'If you don't think Beyonce is still gorgeous even in her unretouched photos then you been drankin' you been drankin'.'

The fansite who published the images have since taken them down and released a statement that read: 'Due to the disdain of the BeyHive, we have removed the photos,' the statement reads. 'We don’t want to cause any drama, nor do we wish to start fan wars. Some of the things we have seen posted were just horrible, and we don’t want any parts of it. We were just posting the photos to share the fact that our queen is naturally beautiful, at the same time she is just a regular woman.'

Beyonce is no stranger to photoshopping controversy. The singer is often accused of editing her Instgram pictures to make her look slimmer.

Everyone know's Instagram isn't real. You can't put a filter on life people.
