Cookbooks - Healthy On My Shelf-y

I'm obsessed with healthy cookbooks at the moment - particularly ones that have a little shelf appeal. Currently spicing up my kitchen shelf is the amazing Plenish Cleanse book, £13.00,which is packed full of health-boosting juice recipes, Easy Vegetarian Curry by Madhur Jaffrey, £20.00 (have you ever seen a better looking cookbook?) and Hemsley And Hemsley's The Art Of Eating Well, from £15.00, take pride of place with their simple, delicious meal ideas. Now all I have to do is actually cook...

Mamma Mio Gym Swipes

I do so love a lunchtime yoga fix (you'll find me downward dogging at Glow Yoga in Covent Garden) but squeezing a shower into a lunchtime as well as a workout is not easy. For the days when I glow more than I sweat I'll be using these smart little gym wipes from Mama Mio Clean Slate Workout Swipes (£27.00 for £25.00). Such a brilliant idea! Pack them in your bag and freshen up in seconds.

Guilt-Free Banana Bread

I've been working hard to get to grips with the idea of vegan baking. It's not easy, people! The night before last week's amazing Mustique trip I baked my first attempt at a vegan, gluten-free banana bread. Honey and coconut oil provided the taste factor, while a clever concoction called a flax egg (two tsps flaxmill and 4 tsps water mixed together) provide thebinding. Happily it received rave reviews from fellow beauty director and plane buddy, the glamorous Alessandra Steinherr. Praise indeed! I got the recipe from the Minimalist Baker blog.

**This Hair Please Now... **

Karlie Kloss meets Versace punk with a little bit of Debbie Harry thrown in equals my perfect haircut. Look out for lots of copycat versions of this style over the next few months.

Andrew Gallimore for Nars

A big shout out for the super talented and all round lovely fella that is Andrew Gallimore. One of Grazia's favourite makeup artists (and fellow Staffordshire homeboy) has just signed with cult make up brand Nars to be their UK make up ambassador. A true meeting of makeup minds.
