Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015: Five Things We Loved

From pretty veiled faces to quite possibly the world's biggest sugar pink gowns, here are five things we loved.

Black embroidered veils:

If anything says haute couture and indeed French bourgeois dressing more generally then it is these.

Flowers;

They were everywhere: embroidered, woven, bejewelled and even on the carpeted runway.

Monochrome:

Ivory and black was the palette to see and be seen wearing here. It's always chic. Always.

Silk tulle:

So sweet, so frothy, so light...

Big gowns:

In fondant bright shades, a finale of these was a sight for sore eyes.
