Cara fans rejoice – your favourite super is back on home soil. Just as well really, because we've been missing La Delevingne a little lately – Yep, although we're most proud that the Brit babe is carving a name for herself in Hollywood, fashion industry parties and launches simply aren't as much fun without her.

Last night we left the Grazia HQ and headed out to celebrate Cara’s role as the YSL 'Face of Makeup' for 2015. (Cara's been lending her famous face (and brows) to the brand for a while, but we're happy to hear the partnership will be continuing.) The event was a two-fold affair celebrating the fifteen year anniversary of YSL's Luxurious Mascara, one of their all-time best selling products.

Super fans, shoppers and industry insiders flocked to Selfridges, Oxford Street where CD very generously handed out 50 Limited Edition versions of the mascara engraved with her 'Love, Cara' signature and took selfies with lucky competition winners from the brand's Facebook page. Needless to say the model pulled a couple of her classic faces (annoyingly, she still looked really pretty) before working the camera like a pro.

Afterwards, we all headed east to The Boiler House for the YSL 'Love Your Lips' afterparty, where we were joined by the rest of the Delevingne clan (Poppy, Chloe and Papa D too), as well as a bevvy of London hipsters including Bip Ling, Angela Scanlon and Tamsin Egerton. Cara wore a Karl Lagerfeld blazer, available at Net-a-Porter, while Poppy and Chloe wore Crisian London shoes.

A DJ set by Mary Charteris and Chelsea Leyland kept the party going well into the early hours of the morning by which time we were tucked up in bed. We're sure we saw Pixie Lott and Henry Holland grooving on the dance floor as we slipped out though…

Be sure to pick up a tube of the YSL Luxurious Mascara, which is available in 7 shades, exclusively at Selfridge’s until January 20th, priced at £25.00.
