Week’s Best Dressed: Who Wore What At The People’s Choice Awards

Got the January blues? Well we've got the perfect antidote to your post-Christmas slump - awards season! Yup the red carpet has been rolled out for another year. On Wednesday evening it was the People's Choice Awards, where Chloe Moretz was the talk of the awards dedicating her People's Choice Award to her grandmother who past away last year. She also won on the red carpet in a leather oxblood mini skirt paired with a cream knit.

Tthe frock-a-thon kicked off this weekend with the Palm Springs International Film Festival. We have introduced you to the 10 leading ladies to watch this awards season, and now we've got a first look at their red carpet game. Reese Witherspoon won the Chairman's Award for her performance in Wild and she also won on the red carpet in a black pearl-embellished Michael Kors dress. Her stylist Leslie Fremar also looks after Julianne Moore, who wore an off-the-shoulder red Delpozo dress with pink fringing trim at the hem.

Our Brit boys, Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch, are also flying the flag stateside . Newlyweds Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe hit the red carpet arm in arm and he said when he accepted the Desert Palm Achievement Award The Theory of Everything he thanks to "my life partner and, as of two weeks ago, my wife. It's kind of weird saying that — but it's a good weird."

Another thing to cheer you up this January is the return of Girls. On Monday evening it was the New York premiere of Girls Season 4 where Allison Williams looked princess-y in a navy blue strapless Monique Lhuillier gown with an embellished full skirt. Zosia Mamet who plays Shoshanna wears a red leather Alexander McQueen mini dress with laser cut-out flower details. While Lena Dunham was back to being a brunette, wearing a Creatures of the Wind black dress with blue, yellow and green stripe inserts and cold-shoulder neckline.
