Those on the lookout for something a little bit different this Mother’s Day should pay attention now because cancer support charity ‘Look Good…Feel Better’ have joined forces with Selfridges to put together its first ever week-long Festival of Fragrance early next month. From 2nd to 10th March the store’s awesome fragrance hall will be running an exciting series of events focusing on Mother’s Day, celebrating the unique relationship between mothers, daughters and grandmothers and the memories that fragrances evoke.
Each brand involved will donate £1 per fragrance product sold over the course of the week, enabling Look Good Feel Better to develop its unique programme of supporting women to combat the visible effects of cancer and cancer treatment.
The highlight of the Festival will be a private dinner on Monday 4th March at in store restaurant HIX, where guests will hear fragrance memoirs and top tips from scent gurus Jo Fairley, Vicci Bentley, Persolaise and Lizzie Ostrom. The icing on the cake however, comes post-dinner, when guests will have the opportunity for a truly awesome out-of-hours shopping experience. Far from the madding crowd, guests can explore Selfridge’s boundless world of fragrance, all whilst supporting a fantastic cause.
