Hi everyone! This week is all about getting ready for Christmas and winding down at work. To get you in the festive spirit here's what I'll be loving this Christmas!!!

Christmas Crimson Lips

Regular readers will know I'm not much of a lipstick lover but Christmas is the time is bust out a bold colour and go for it. I've fallen in love with the beautiful, rich crimson colours on the catwalk for next spring. Come Christmas day I'll be wearing mine with a healthy shot of bronzer as seen here at Andrew Gn - I think it helps to warm the look up and stop it looking too gothic. Nars Audacious Lipstick in Lana, (£24.00, NARS), and Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 001 (£5.49, Boots) are my products of choice.

My Scented Candle Centrepiece

The centre piece to my entire festive decor is my collection of candles. I save the most colourful, most festive smelling candles all year and then display them only dining table. This year I'm loving the beautiful pine like smell of my Acqua di Parma candles (available at Harrods), the sweet aroma of this gorgeous Laduree candle as well as the subtle muskiness of the Ritz Candle (£30.00, Ritz) collection. I bulk out the display with some huge red pilar candles from Tesco which are super cheap and burn really beautifully.

Woodland Walks

Every christmas I give myself a week off my regular yoga regime. I find I appreciate it more when I do this and can really feel the mental and phsyical benefits fully. Often when you do one particular exercise regulary your body becomes accustomed to it and a break can really give you a boost. Instead I'll be hitting the hiking trail and doing as many festive walks as possible. Great for your skin, great for your body and great for your mind. It's the perfect way to shake off the old year and gear up for the new year. There's nothing like the great outdoors!!

Last Shoot Of The Year!

Today is the last beauty shoot of 2014 for me! I'm lucky enough to be sharing it with the lovely (and very fun) Mel Arter and Adam Reed. We're shooting next seasons hair trends inspired by girls on the street and instagram on one of my favourite fresh new faces Candice, at Next models. Look out for this beauty next year. Also keep your eyes peeled for the shoot which has been photographed by the very talented Jon Gorrigan. It's been a very busy beauty year and a great year for shoots. I can't wait to see what next year holds!
