Kim Kardashian's neutral know how is astounding, but we've noticed that she's made quite the palette shift recently. The previously caramel locks of Kanye West's fiancé were once accentuated by a wardrobe of soft, warm camels and toffee coloured cashmere - THAT MaxMara teddy bear coat went with her everywhere. Since going back to brunette though she has donned a kaleidoscope of creams. This girl thinks carefully about her swatches.
Unlike a lot of neutral dressers, Kim's new look does not fall into politician's wife territory. Whilst those pussy-bow blouses and belted coats are rather ladylike, her minimal shapes are key to keeping her look fashion-forward.
Here's our guide to doing cream, the Kim K way:

1. The Fabric
Kim has stayed faithful to her luxe fabric favourites: silk, cashmere, crepe and suede. Some more futuristic finishes would achieve this perfectly too, think neoprene or boiled wool, just keep it thick and super smooth for that modern minimal look.
2. The Line
Kim balances prim necklines with figure-skimming silhouettes. There's no flesh on show here but it's supremely sexy. Keeping the hemline slightly below the knee is extra flattering on a curvy body too.
3. The Shoe
Ms Kardashian mixes her look with an off-kilter coloured shoe. She adds in taupe and greige in soft, soft suede and elegant cut-out heels. This Aquazurra pair above are clean and cool yet super sexy - it's all in the delicate stiletto heel.
