Just when talk emerged this week that the Duchess of Cambridge is getting a bit (whisper it) dull, she’s pulled it back by showing off her personality - and a super-sassy personality at that. A video of K-Middy shows her giving a sly side eye after being reprimanded by a charity worker for chatting.
Kate was wrapping gifts at the Northside Center for Child Development in New York, where she and William have recently undertaken a three day tour, when she was caught by what looks to be one of the staff having a bit of a chinwag in the middle of her duties.
The woman is quite clearly heard giving Kate an instruction to, ‘Keep Wrapping,’ an instruction that didn’t go down too well. Kate, looks back to her gifts giving a MASSIVE eye roll. Lols. We must say given that Kate is usually the epitome of decorum we kind of enjoyed seeing another side to her.
Quite what the Queen would make of it though we don’t know, we thought Royals were meant to be happy and lovely to everyone at all times. On the plus side Kate did seem to have impeccable wrapping skills, so at least that’s something.
During Kate and William’s tour of NYC they also visited the 9/11 memorial and attended a basketball game. There they met with Beyonce and Jay Z and enjoyed an audience with star player LeBron James. He caused a massive furore when he put his sweaty arm around Kate. Been a bit of a wild trip really, hasn’t it?!
