The billboards of London are about to get a whole lot sexier come this Spring when Chris Pine makes his debut as the face of Giorgio Armani’s fragrance, Armani Code.
Star Trek’s resident hunk in Lycra follows in the footsteps of other fellow demi-gods, David Beckham, Rafael Nadal and Cristiano Ronaldo, by becoming Armani’s latest face. As Mr Armani says himself, “Chris perfectly embodies the brand’s spirit with his strong charisma and natural elegance. Besides revealing great talent, high versatility and the right amount of irony on set, his magnetic charm makes him the ideal match for this fragrance.” We hear ya!
Chris is definitely having a bit of a fashion moment lately, so it’s no wonder Giorgio had snapped him up for the campaign. The Jack Ryan actor has enlisted the help of Hollywood’s most in demand stylists, the sister duo, Wendi and Nicole Ferreira. The pair, who The Hollywood Reporter ranked at 19 in their list of the most power stylists, also lend their wardrobe wand to Elizabeth Banks, Octavia Spencer, Channing Tatum and Josh Hutcherson. We are not jealous of their one on one time with Chris, Channing and Josh at all, not us… never! (Who are we kidding!?)

Wendi and Nicole’s have definitely moulded Mr Pine into the most suave actor on the planet. The thirty-three year old actor’s red carpet look is all about the touch of the traditional with his penchant for tawny-brown suits in heritage fabrics and double breasted jackets. To look less museum relic and more of the moment, Chris throws a contrast shirt or tie into the mix and just like that perfection is created! The results are just stunning, I am sure you will agree?!
The new advertising campaign for Armani Code will be released in Spring this year, but to whet your appetite check out our gallery below of Chris doing what he does best, wearing really great tailored suits. It illustrates perfectly why Chris Pine is just the ideal new Giorgio God….
