There's only one adjective to describe Scandanvian style: cool. Our passports might stop us from passing as legit Scandis, so how can we successfully fake it? Sure, a shopping spree in COS will set you on your way, but we've enlisted Carolina Engman of Fashion Squad to give you her Nordic know how.

Her expert monochrome styling has made her one of the top five fashion bloggers on the planet (as positioned on Bloglovin), with more than 200,000 subscribers. Last month Harrods brought together eight of the world's most powerful fashion bloggers, for a special photoshoot dubbed the 'Digital Style Summit.' We have teamed up with each of the girls to bring you their styling masterclass and Shopping Fix for the season.

First up we talked Acne and white shirts with Carolina, and found out her top 20 pieces to help you get the Scandi look...

Grazia Daily: How long have you been blogging for?

Carolina: 'I started my blog in April 2006 while I was still in school because I wanted a place where I could share inspiring pictures and my view on fashion. Little did I know that it would turn into a full time job one day!'

Grazia Daily: Your tips for getting the Scandi look?

Carolina: 'The key is to keep the look clean and minimalistic but with an edge. Personally I tend to wear a lot of black, but by playing around with layers & textures it never looks dull!'

****Grazia Daily: What are the staples in your wardrobe?

Carolina: 'Black jeans, white shirts, leather jackets and lots of cashmere sweaters.'

****Grazia Daily: **Any Scandinavian designers we should look out for? **

Carolina: 'I love the Danish jewelry designer Sophie Bille Brahe, she makes the most gorgeous pieces! For Swedish brands I really like Acne, Filippa K, Dagmar and Carin Wester.'

****Grazia Daily: Which is your all-time favourite bag?

Carolina: 'My all-time favorite bag would definitely be Proenza Schoulers Ps1, I have it in three colors but my black one is definitely my go-to.'

****Grazia Daily: Best places to shop in Stockholm?

Carolina: 'One of my favourite Swedish brands is Acne - their flagship store is heaven. They also have a store called Acne Archive where you can find pieces from old Acne collections at really good prices. I once bought an amazing sleeveless leather jacket that used to be over 2000 dollars at 75% off and it's one of my most treasured pieces. Other than that I love Dusty Deco and Svenskt Tenn for interior design.'

****Grazia Daily: We love your pictures of your New York apartment - where do you get your interiors inspiration?

Carolina: 'I find inspiration everywhere - magazines, old movies, traveling, architecture, certain colors. I also follow a ton of great interior design blogs on Bloglovin.com!'

****Grazia Daily: Where are your favourite places to find pieces for your apartment?

Carolina: 'I love things that come with a story so I'm always on the lookout for great pieces for my apartment when I'm travelling. It can be anything from a rug, pillows, a painting or simply a scented candle that reminds me of that particular trip. I also love browsing around on Etsy for great vintage pieces.'

****Grazia Daily: What is your most treasured possession in your apartment?

Carolina: 'My vintage brass nesting tables from the 60's!'
