The sun is out (ish) and what better time than now to start your summer makeover? When the heat sets in, we're all for updating our 'dos with a fresh new look to match our fresh new wardrobes. And thanks to the A-listers who've been out and about in the sunshine showcasing their enviable manes, we've got plenty of hairspiration as encouragement.
One easy way to revamp your hair is by adding mermaid waves to your tresses - just see Blake Lively, one of our all-time Hair Heroes. This is a fuss-free, laid-back look that oozes model-off-duty cool. How to get the look? Simply create two large braids (one on each side) on damp hair before bed for a tousled finish. Alternatively, use a straightener to curl by wrapping hair round if you're after something more polished.
Speaking of waves, this year's Met Ball showcased a parade of ladylike styles inspired by the Charles James theme. The likes of Reese Witherspoon amped up the retro glamour with marcel waves topped off with a colour-popping lip.

Or maybe it's a new colour you're looking for. If so, take a cue from Kristen Stewart who showcased her new auburn hue on the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival, as did Lea Seydoux with her warm, coppery tone.
