It's here! It's finally here! After what feels like an age spring is in the air. But before you crack out the denim hotpants (and yes, Grazia's Style Hunter has already witnessed such optimism) you may as well enjoy this inbetween stage. It's a chance to get creative with layering and maybe, just maybe, you could treat yourself to one of the shiny and new pieces currently arriving onto store rails as we type. Spring/Summer 2014 has a very bright, breezy and fairly adventurous outlook - check out the runways for a riot of colour, fun prints, novelty items and forward thinkng silhouettes - but to ease yourself in, we'd suggest looking through our top A-list inspired early bird outfit outings. Fearne Cotton, Rita Ora and Elle Fanning have ditched the black wool coats of yesterday in favour of something far more enticing, Diane Kruger has proven that dungarees really are acceptable attire for a grown woman, Cara D and Co. have been crop toppin' it already with the aid of a cover-up jacket and fondant fancy pastel shades are getting the head-to-toe treatment by Sienna Miller and Pixie Lott.
1. SPRING COATS
It'd be very easy to overlook purchasing a spring coat - you have a winter one and that can surely last - but nothing looks peppier than a light, sling-it-on and brighten-it-up piece of outerwear. And right now the choices for this season know no bounds. Rita Ora is a particular spring coat fan - owning this Prada number above and many others. **2. FONDANT FANCIES
After a few consecutive summer collections featuring power pastels, this girlish colour palette no longer feels like a tricky test. We know our fondant fancies from our silly sorbets and therefore, it's now the prime time to start mixing them together. Sienna Miller and Pixie Lott are prime pastel examples this week. *3. COVERED UP CROP TOPS
Sans jacket the idea of a crop top in March is totally nuts - but with a sporty cargo, sleek blazer or duster coat over the top, this little slither of skin looks like a tempting spring invitation. Cara took it to the max witha string vest, but the idea remains the same. Go high waisted with trousers or skirts for the most comfortable flesh flashing and try sassing up a suit, like Miroslava Duma, with a little bustier underneath. Cheeky. Do a dunga - it's Diane Kruger's new season entry item of choice, therefore it's now ours too. And thanks to the runways trend for all things denim, the jean onesie - whether in dungaree, boiler suit or luxe tailored form - is now more acceptable than ever. And it's a good base tool: you see, in LA Diane K can obvs do a sandal and wears hers with nothing more than a white tee.
