The Kardashian sisters are known for their mega-glam style. With long luscious locks, pristine make-up and a passion for body-con - Khloe, Kim, Kendall and Kourtney are all poster girls for picking figure-flattering outfits over edgier looks. Not Kylie though.
Take last night for example, while Kendall was sporting a shimmering gown and a dramatic hairstyle for the Met Ball, Kylie was err.. chilling out in all-black-everything. And John Lennon shades and heeled boots obvs.
While the older girls stick to their glamorous uniform, mixing in the odd 'shocking' piece (Kendall's Coachella nose ring, Khloe's 'f*** yo fur' jacket et al) Kylie's spent the past few months sporting a wardrobe that wouldn't look out of place on the mega trendy streets of East London.
It's not always been that way though. Flashback to spring 2013 and she was the spitting image of her older sisters, sporting a long billowing blow-dry, smokey eyeshadow and leg-flashing mini dresses.

How did she go from totally Hollywood to the Tumblrified girl she is today? Well, it started with a hair cut.
Kyle chopped her locks into hairstyle of the moment - the long ombre bob - in January, following in the footsteps of hip style icon Alexa Chung. Bleaching the ends, Kylie went on to try out hair chalks at Coachella and has now dyed the majority of her tresses a bold blue/green shade. So Kingsland Road!
'I feel like short hair cuts are really in,' she said in a recent interview. 'I had long hair forever. I just wanted to chop it off. I don't even miss it. I keep wanting to go shorter!'

To compliment her new 'do, she swapped her Kim K make-up bag of contouring powder, highlighter and eye-shadow for nude skin, winged liner and a 90s inspired lip palette of dark berry shades. At the same time, she built up a wardrobe of equally 90s-inspired pieces - opting for grungey oversized shirts, halter crop tops, John Lennon glasses, leather and denim.
'Kendall's very beach-y and more sophisticated. I feel like I'm more edgy. I like a lot of leather and black and dark colors,' she said.

Finally there's her Instagram. While the other Kardashian sisters are all about uber-flattering filters and glam beach scenes, Kylie's shots show her from obscure angles, infront of bare brick walls. Rather than sticking to just the basic square images, she uses an app to help her upload her pictures so they're set on a white background - just like disposable camera pictures.
To finish them off she captions them with totally emosh song lyrics from the likes of Beyonce and J Cole. 'I ain't too proud to tell you that I cry sometimes about it,' she writes, making references to 'interpretive dance'. Alternative to the max.
