How To Master The French Braid
Just in case you’d failed to notice, Grazia HQ’s obsession with Emma Watson has reached new heights- we spend a worrying amount of time swooning over not only her red-carpet wardrobe but also her incredible beauty looks. The 23-year-old actress has been out and about over the past few weeks promoting her new flick Noah and has, dare we say it, been looking better than ever. So, when Watson revealed the entire contents of her make-up bag over Twitter we were, understandably, beyond excited (to say the least).
Inside Emma's make-up bag (@emwatson)
First of all, we have to give it to Emma for having one seriously organised make-up bag. In fact, the sheer selection and variety of products in Em’s cosmetic arsenal put even us beauty ladies to shame. Take, for example, her stash of gummy bears, safety pins and stain removal gel- a plethora of crises effortlessly averted. And, as if we were surprised, her cosmetic choices are a real beauty pro’s edit- a winning combo of high-end and bargain beauty products, Watson’s got her kit sorted. Oh, and how could we forget the paper pants? The secret to no VPL, apparently. Read on to discover what we found lurking inside the brunette beauty’s make-up bag...
Em is a big fan of organic skincare and swears by MV Organic Pure Jojoba Oil, £28 to create a winning base. She then relies on Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster, £26 and Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer Skin Illuminator, £35.50 to create a red carpet worthy glow. Oh, and pesky blemishes? She’s got them under control with Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit, £24.
Emma’s eye make-up is never anything less than perfect and us beauty ladies have spent a lifetime trying to decode her winning formula. Her secret? False lashes, NARS Eyeshadow duo, £25 and Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, £12. Bottom lash mascara? Hey, if it works for Em…
Emma has been sporting some seriously chic, edgier hairstyles recently and we want to know the secret behind all that volume, shape and hold. Oribe Superfine Hairspray, £27.50 and Batiste dry shampoo, girls.
Team Grazia beauty give Watson’s lip army our full marks. Using Creme de la Mer lip balm as a super-moisturising base (we love the fresh minty effect it has, too) and Tom Ford Lipstick as her colour of choice, this is a true beauty match made in heaven.
Apart from the very practical Commando Better Than Nothing Knickers, Em loves Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow Blush, £21 (we do too), and Topshop nail varnish, £5. Oh, and when sugar levels need a top up, there's always some Haribo to hand. Em- we love you!
The secret to Em’s amazing brows? Regular taming with Anastasia Beverly Hills tweezers, £22. She couldn’t be without a pair of GHD Hair Straighteners too, and clearly loves a Beauty Blender Make-up sponge, £16 as much as we do.
