We are still just as much as love with Claire Danes as we were when she played Angela Chase in My So-Called Life. Skip forward two decades and she still has us all glued to our TV sets as she plays spirited CIA agent Carrie Mathison in Homeland. As the star of the hottest TV drama around she has filled many column inches and secured some major magazine covers, from going all fashioney in ASOS to getting glam for Vanity Fair.
Ms Danes played Cosette in Les Miserables in 1998 and starred in Romeo & Juliet alongside Leo DiCaprio, but it was reported she turned down the female lead in Titanic. Gulp. Claire also has a keen eye for fashion, and has FROW-ed at New York and London Fashion Week.
Claire Danes has won two Emmy Awards and four Golden Globes, but she is also a winner on the red carpet. Her go-to designers are Armani, Valentino, Calvin Klein, J Mendel and Lanvin. She is a fan of a classic Valentino red frock (who isn't?) and has a weakness for a metallic floor sweeper. We still can't get over the ruffled organza Valentino gown she wore to the Oscars in 2012. It's the ultimate mille-feuille frock.
Her other red carpet hits include the pink Calvin Klein halter she wore to the 2011 Golden Globes and the sequin Armani strapless gown she wore to the Emmys back in 2010. Speaking of the Emmys the 2012 ceremony was all about canary yellow and Ms Danes opted for a strapless, draped silk Lanvin dress which was oh-so flattering on her baby bump.
Just weeks after giving birth, Claire Danes wowed on the red carpet at the 2013 Golden Globes in a red hot halter gown by Versace. It's one of the most impressive post-baby bodies we have ever seen. Her secret? When she went on stage at the SAGs to pick up her award she started off her speech by joking 'As a brand spankin'...or Spanx-ing new mom...'
As well as capturing Abu Nazir and being a Valentino darling, Claire is also half of one of our favourite Hollywood couples, as she is married to the lovely Mr Hugh Dancy. Oh to be Claire Danes...
