Cameron Diaz - Best Dresses & Outfits

Cameron Diaz is the ultimate California girl, with an incredible beach-toned bod, surfed up blonde hair and laid back style. She was signed to Elite Model Management at just 16 and then landed campaigns for companies such as Calvin Klein and Levi's.

Her big break came when she starred in The Mask in 1994 - and now after almost twenty years in the industry she has picked up four golden globes and played every part from a ring leader of an arse-kicking trio in Charlie’s Angels, to a scheming teacher in Bad Teachers, to a psychotic ex-girlfriend in Vanilla Sky.

Cam dresses for her figure, flaunting her perfect pins in teeny shorts and bodycon dresses. Well if you've got it... You're unlikely to catch Cameron drowned in layers, as she sticks to LWDs (little white dresses) and LRDs (little red dresses). Stella McCartney is her go-to designer of late - it was Stella who designed the white jumpsuit she wore to What to Expect When You're Expecting premiere where she went matchy matchy with our Cheryl Cole.

She might have a signature style, but that doesn't mean she sticks to the rule book as she isn't afraid of experimenting with fashion. In the early 2000s she had a phase of wearing hats with her couture, which we admit isn't the best look, but we admire her for taking red carpet risks. At the Charlie's Angels premiere in 2003 her heel snapped (eek!), but she just whipped off her shoes and walked down the red carpet barefoot in a strapless white mini. You can take the girl out of California...

She has been the queen of the Oscars since 1995 - wowing in a stunning, structured white Valentino Couture gown to the 2007 awards and a gold Oscar de la Renta floor sweeper to the 2010 awards. We'll even forgive her for that kimono gown in 2002.

Glance back through Ms D’s fashion evolution from her 20 years on the red carpet in the gallery above. Look out for the blue eye shadow she sported to the Very Bad Things premiere in 1998. Oh the 90s...
